After serving 13 years in the Army, with officer experience, Rhonda Solomon found it difficult to adjust to civilian life. While trying to find the right job for her personality, she went to work for a guy who owned a cleaning company. She performed the duties but he never paid her. That sparked the idea, “I can start my own. Why not?”
Rhonda’s passion for cleaning, ensuring neat and orderly spaces, extends back to her mother’s strict Friday night routine as a youth. They did it weekly.
She started in New Jersey, in 2008, with two accounts – a gas station and a lobby. But, needing to be closer to her mom, Solomon moved back home to Ohio. Her mom, who who gave the business it’s name, helped Solomon expand. No Time Cleaning Services, taking a military-style approach to cleaning, now services several both commercial and residential accounts and staffs seven part-time employees. No Time Cleaning Services is also a recipient of the 2009 Nordonia Hill Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Award and the 2011 Nordonia Hill Chamber of Commerce Star Award.
